Philadelphia #PrivateEquity firm invests in clinic company #HaroldBrubaker @resilient_ent

LLR Partners, a Philadelphia private equity firm, and Wellpoint, among the nation's largest health insurers, have invested an undisclosed amount in Physicians Immediate Care L.L.C., a Rockford, Ill., company that manages 20 independent medical clinics in Illinois, Nebraska and Oklahoma. The financing, announced Thursday, will be used for expansion, the companies said. The clinics offer services including X-rays, lab work, physicals, immunizations, fracture care, and minor surgical procedures
