Shadyville Entertainment is the partnership of DJ Whoo Kid and Nana Fujise and was so named as a tribute to the Queen’s Village, NY neighborhood in which Whoo Kid was raised. It’s purpose was the marketing and promotion of DJ Whoo Kid on a worldwide level via the many mediums in which he operates successfully – mixtapes, DVD’s, radio (NY’s Hot 97 and Sirius’ Shade 45 Channel), MTV, BET, magazines and web promotion – all of which carry and further the Shadyville brand.
To date DJ Whoo Kid’s accomplishments and accolades include 5 Justo’s Mixtape Awards, Rolling Stones Top 10 DJ’s of 2005 mention, a 10 hour block of programming on Sirius Radio’s Shade 45 Channel, a regular show on NY’s Hot 97 station, tours both nationwide and worldwide and too many MTV Mixtape Mondays ‘notable mentions’ to list. As his recognition grew on a worldwide level, Shadyville realized that they had created the perfect blueprint for artist promotion and the proof can be seen in the success stories of the careers of artists like 50 Cent, Mobb Deep, M.O.P., Chamillionaire, The Game and Bump J, all of whom have benefited from being promoted though the Shadyville machine. Whoo Kid has both raised the bar on the entire mixtape culture, and changed the way that people hear music.
Now, with a team of 150 Shadyville DJ’s spanning the globe to add to his promotional vehicle, there is no one in hip hop, in any country, that can lay claim to the exposure that Shadyville affords it’s artists’ music. If you want it done right the first time, let Whoo Kid show you how it’s done! Pow! | |
