With the aim of sustaining the marketing tool Product Placement in German speaking countries, the association “Product Placement Verband” was founded in Munich on July 5th 2012. The full potential of
Product Placement has still not been developed after the liberalisation in Germany two years ago. That´s why during the Munich film festival last Thursday specialised agencies, production companies and representatives of TV stations from Germany and Austria got together in the “Weisses Bräuhaus“ in Munich to found the association for Product Placement. Finally Product Placement gets a common voice and the significance in the marketing mix it deserves.
