SPOTLIGHT SHINING ON MUSIC REACH @musicreach

Philosophy
Music Reach was created by a group of highly skilled music professionals who believe the key to getting the most out of music education is to inspire creativity throughout the learning process. Our approach helps create an instant connection between student and instrument, and the momentum encourages each student's musical passion.

 Approach
Music Reach lessons combine the best of classic and contemporary education with creative music activities, and a “hands-on” approach to teaching, which encourages students to focus on what they really want to do…PLAY THE INSTRUMENT! While we specialize in private music lessons for children and younger adults, our programs cater to a range of interests for musicians of all ages. Whether you're a beginner, hobbyist or professional, our programs are tailored to match your specific interests.

Staff
What really sets us apart from other music institutions is our teachers! Music Reach instructors are university trained professionals who love to teach. They take personal pride in each student’s success and know how to keep the lessons fresh and exciting. Our teachers are patient, kind, and enthusiastic about teaching, and many of our teachers develop long-term, informal mentoring relationships with their students.

Vitality

We know that the key to maintaining student interest and enthusiasm is keeping our program fresh and relevant to their lives. Music Reach continually expands our program to offer students new and exciting activities and resources.

Goals
Our mission is to provide students of any age or skill level with the necessary tools and creative guidance to achieve personal success in their musical journey.

MUSIC REACH TREASURE CHEST

Learning to sing or play a musical instrument takes time and patience. But it's not long before kids get frustrated. They lose their momentum. They don't feel like practicing. And it's easy for kids to feel overwhelmed and forget what it was that got them excited about music in the first place. And guess what happens next? Kids usually quit taking music lessons! And unfortunately, they've quit before they've even had the chance to find their rhythm where they can say, "I get this! I can do it!" This is a big problem for students, parents, and teachers, so we decided to do something about it - and we created The Music Reach Treasure Chest!

For over 2 years, we've been working closely with students, parents, and teachers to create the first, online, motivational support system that gets kids to practice their musical instruments EVERY DAY.

And YES, we are excited to be able to tell you that we now have the solution to this age old problem!

  1. For all musicians, what was it that inspired you to get involved in music? Was it a family member, hearing an inspiring artist or a great song, working with a mentor, or was it something else? For me, my family had a great passion for music, so music was always a part of my life. I started studying piano at age 5. But at about 16 years old, I discovered synthesizers and Keith Emerson and things haven't been the same since! Keith is a great inspiration! So how bout you guys? What sparked your interest?

    1. @Andre Avalos Just wanted to come back, and say thank you for sharing on this subject. We love music as well. Some of play instruments, and produce as well.
