Q: With natural gas prices low, is the Canadian gas sector ripe for a round of M&As?


A: On the gas side with pricing the way it is, potential buyers are rubbing their hands and thinking what a great time to buy. But for companies that have to sell, it is difficult to try to marry maximising shareholder value with what people are willing to pay given the current metrics.
