Children’s wear in China continues to attract the attention of private-equity firms Standard Chartered Private Equity Ltd. STAN.LN -2.30% on Monday became the latest to announce that it was betting on the sector. SCPE said it will invest in Guangdong Aiyingdao Children Department Store Co., a Guangdong-based retailer of children’s and maternity products with more than 230 stores in China. SCPE didn’t disclose financial terms.
