Tarpon Hill Capital Debuts to Provide Growth Private Equity Investments to Next-Stage Companies

Veteran team formed to help innovative technology companies meet their revenue and profit potential through growth capital and operational support

Tom Behlau today announced the founding of Tarpon Hill Capital, a private equity firm that will exclusively invest in next-stage companies that develop innovative technologies for regulated industries such as Life Sciences, Financial Services, and Healthcare.

Tarpon Hill will form partnerships with entrepreneurs at companies that have revenue of at least $1 million with recurring revenue in their existing customer base. Member companies can leverage Tarpon Hill for business expansion, leveraged acquisitions, management buyouts, and shareholder recapitalizations. Beyond the capital contribution, Tarpon Hill will combine significant experience in operational management, information technology, finance, and legal matters.

Tarpon Hill is led by Tom Behlau, a business operations veteran known in Philadelphia's technology community for founding and growing two successful software integration companies--Anexinet and Information Technologists Inc. (now Actium). Tom is COO advisor to member companies.

Other principals at Tarpon Hill include Jeffery Milne, CIO advisor to member companies who is the CEO of Entech Consulting, a technology management consulting company; previously CIO of Juniper Bank/Barclays US. In addition, Tom Coffey, accounting and CFO advisor to member companies who has guided both public and private companies ranging in size from start-up to $3 billion.

Tarpon Hill's team also includes dedicated legal counsel with extensive experience in corporate law, mergers/acquisitions, and financial transactions. Tarpon Hill will also leverage its network of sales and marketing support to work in alignment with member companies for demand creation.
