Washington Women in Public Relations (WWPR) is a vital resource for communications professionals in metropolitan Washington, D.C. With a thriving membership base and a slate of highly anticipated annual events, WWPR is committed to delivering outstanding professional development, networking, marketplace positioning, and leadership opportunities to area communicators. 

Each year WWPR recognizes the many achievements and contributions that leading public relations professionals bring to the workplace with its Washington PR Woman of the Year Award and Emerging Leaders Awards. WWPR also offers frequent programs and events designed to help area communications professionals build and maintain networks, stay relevant to current trends, and gain mentoring and career opportunities. 

Every two years, WWPR selects a local nonprofit client and provides pro bono services including marketing and communications, crisis communications, media relations, branding, public relations expertise and social media expertise
