Billionaires continue to rack up positions in Houston public companies

Betting on the long-term strength of the U.S. energy boom, billionaire-led hedge funds have bought up more energy stocks and taken some new positions in Houston oil and gas companies. Second-quarter regulatory filings examined by Houston Business Journal show seven major hedge funds bought millions of shares in pipeline, oil and gas exploration and production, energy technology and oilfield services companies in Houston.
