Our approach is to assemble a network of local resources tailored to the specific investment opportunity. We then construct a layer of operational and financial oversight to manage this network. Our breadth of experience allows us to take best practices from many different perspectives and meld them into efficient local market solutions. We operate "narrow and deep". When we choose a market, it represents a long-term presence and commitment. We aim to excel in a limited geography versus being a "peer group average" in many geographies.
We are co-investors, not fee for service providers. Thus we carefully limit our participation to areas of maximum potential return.
Although our perspective is based upon our professional grounding as traders, we recognize that the critical element in distressed investment performance is operational (asset servicing) execution.
Thus, after acquisition, we remain intimately involved in the daily management, execution and oversight of asset servicing operations. This element, more than any other, defines and differentiates Lobo Group.
We always include local service providers within a country or region. Such service providers add the local (cultural) knowledge that is critical in day-to-day asset servicing.
