TerraEchos has landed it $1.55 million in venture capital
funding.
Flywheel Ventures announced the investment Tuesday morning
through a press release, calling it seed financing to help the
company "continue innovation in the cyber security arena."
This represents a significant milestone for TerraEchos and its
various stakeholders, and I look forward to continued innovation
and to expanding our commitment to our customers," said Alex Philp,
chief executive officer and founder of the company.
TerraEchos' "Kairos" computing appliance system is the "first to
process and analyze high-volume, high-variety, high-speed data in
real time," the news release said.
The investment will be used to expand its software development
team and business development presence for key U.S. government
security customers, the release said.
