Charles Hudson is a man of many talents. He produces technology conferences. He's a partner at SoftTech VC, a popular Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm. He co-founded Bionic Panda Games, a social games company that focuses on the Android market. And if that wasn't enough, he's now a self-published author. Hudson, who has produced over ten technology conferences, shares his expertise in the newly-published e-book, Hacking the Conference Business.
He told us that a combination of personal and professional interests have him on the road "five times per quarter." This includes a combination of speaking engagements, meetings, and business-development trips. Given his focus, it's no surprise that his travel tools are all digital. He has a thing for mobile gadgets; He carries three phones and is constantly testing out new apps. Hudson is also incredibly organized, bookmarking locations and media before he travels, so he can save time and avoid frustration while on the road.
